About Life Aid Health Home Care

Our Story

We built Life Aid Health Home Care around one belief: that clinical-grade nursing and genuine warmth don't have to be a trade-off — even at home, even for the hardest cases.

How We Started

Built From a Gap We Kept Seeing

Life Aid Health Home Care opened its doors in 2021, in Sanepa, Lalitpur — a small team of nurses who kept hearing the same story from families across the Kathmandu Valley: a parent discharged from hospital with nowhere skilled to recover, an aunt managing a diabetic husband alone, a son abroad trying to coordinate care over a scratchy phone line. Hospitals were excellent at acute care. Nobody was covering what came after.

Today we support 650+ families with a team of 60+ verified nurses and caregivers — but the model hasn't changed: every plan of care is designed by a registered nurse, delivered by someone trained to treat a stranger's parent like their own.

Nurse-Supervised, Not Just Nurse-Staffed

A registered nurse designs and reviews every care plan, even when day-to-day visits are handled by a trained caregiver.

We Hire for Empathy First

Clinical skill can be trained on the job. Patience with a frightened, elderly patient at 2am cannot — so it's what we screen for first.

Built With NRN Families in Mind

Weekly photo and video updates, and a care coordinator who will get on a call at an hour that works for your time zone.

What We Stand For

Our Values

Dignity First

A patient is never spoken about in the third person in their own home.

Radical Transparency

Fixed package pricing, honest timelines, and reports you can actually read.

Show Up, Every Time

A missed visit is treated as seriously as a missed medication.

The Family Is the Unit of Care

We're treating a household's peace of mind, not just a patient's chart.

Our Care Team

Who Actually Shows Up

Every person on a Life Aid care team is background-checked, trained, and matched to your family before day one.

Registered Nurses

NMC-registered where applicable, leading wound care, medication and clinical monitoring.

Trained Caregivers

Daily living support, hygiene and companionship, supervised by the nursing team.

Care Coordinators

Your single point of contact — scheduling, family updates and doctor coordination.

Let's Talk About Your Family's Care

A care coordinator will listen first, then explain exactly how we'd support your situation.
